ابو علي | Abou 3ali

رسول الله | Rassoul-ul-Laah | The Messenger of Allah
For some reason I have a feeling that this guy is from Saudi Arabia.

Arabic Lyrics: In Flash Presentation
English Lyrics:

The Messenger of God
(Repeats)

The Messenger of God raised us,
And with Islam gave us life,
And taught us to become..
..aides to the religion of God
We became united by of the light of his guidance
As brethren and like relatives
And he watered our souls every time..
..they were thirsty for faith.
(Repeats)

We inherited from him the laws of our lives,
and we made them high in status,
so we did not oppress or do injustice or go against our pacts
and did not become arrogant and mischievous.
(Repeats)

The messenger of God is our role model (?),
He advised us to be on the right path,
For the sake of Truth, how much did he sacrifice..
..and how much did he experience hardship and suffer..
..and how much did he taste in pain many types of harm.
So he did not cease,
and did not submit,
and did not bow,
and never leant [towards their way](?).
(Repeats)

The enlightened in opinion when the winds of injustice were gusting and flooding,
A wise man who has bewildered the world with magical words of clarification,
Merciful as he goes and judges, and justice was the balance,
Merciful as he goes and judges, and justice was the balance.
(Repeats)

The Messenger of God
(Repeats)

So Youth of Truth, advance.. from your sanctuaries of worship like knights,
And in Islam take your example; the guidance of the chosen one,
And walk and bring glad tidings to the world, that the dawn has become clear,
And walk and bring glad tidings to the world, that the dawn has become clear,
that the dawn has become clear.

The Messenger of God raised us,
And with Islam gave us life,
And taught us to become..
..aides to the religion of God
We became united because of the light of his guidance
As brethren and like relatives
And he watered our souls every time..
..they were thirsty for faith.

Update 20 January 2007

AsSalamu Alaykum, May Peace be upon you

This is just an update which I'm putting here more as a historical record than anything else..
Just now, the visitor count Alhamdulillah reached 500 before mine very eyes! Shouldn't be too far until I make it to the top then!

I've decided to video-convert most translations onto google for general ease of viewing, making it available for a wider audience on youtube, and because it just looks so good!

LiveVideo is also pretty cool so I should be putting them up on there too..

I have discovered a virtual nasheed treasure chest at a blog called mujahideenryder.com. Insha2allh will add some of them here.. sometime.

So check out the following sites/programs I found impressive
- the-deen.co.uk
- Opera.com
- mujahideenryder.com
- LiveVideo.com

There is also so much good Islamic/Semi-Islamic stuff on YouTube, so it's really worth checking out!

Always open for suggestions using the all-new email-me system (scroll down and look right!)

And.. thats about it

Take Care Y'all

WasSalamu Alaykum!

English Lyrics:

I confide to God the hardships ** And my tears flow
And I persevere with beautiful patience ** And how wise the fate of life is

I confide to God the hardships ** And my tears flow

عرفتك يا رب |A3araftoka Ya Rabb | I knew You, O Lord

Nasheed by Muhammad Al-Hasyan Feat. Rayhan
(From http://almuhands.org/forum/showthread.php?t=62939 with minor editing)
English Lyrics:

CHORUS
Allahu Allahu Allahu Allah
Allahu Allahu Allahu Allah
(Repeats 3 times at the start)
I knew You, Oh Lord, [even] before I repented..
I knew You since my heart had a taste of hardship
CHORUS
I knew You, and misguidance was inside of me..
.. frightening me with hardship(?) and torture

CHORUS

I knew you in every thing that appeared..
and in the sea or in the beauty of the hills

(Repeats)
CHORUS

And in the breezes of guidance, I tasted them..
I forgot with them the many good things
CHORUS
So, Allah, preserve my heart from a temptation..
..which would show it misguidance in pure clothes

CHORUS
So excel me, with your love, towards your guidance..
And grant me your contentment and the best of places [in paradise].
CHORUS

Update 9 Jan 2007

السلام عليكم
Assalamu Aleikum world.
First I'd like to thank you all for visiting the Site, which has received hundreds of hits in under a month. Happy Eid, New Year etc. to you all.
Alhamdulillah there have been visitors from all over the world. It is amazing how diverse a lot Muslims really are. I mean, what other religions' chanting-type sites receive visitors from Australia, Kazakhstan, France, Sweden, USA, Morocco, UAE, UK, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Netherlands, Germany, Kuwait, Turkey, Lebanon, Iran, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan and Malaysia? None by my last count.
It's also amazing how quiet we all are! over 200 INDIVIDUAL visitors and just one comment!
Anyway, back to reality. I'm posting this entry because I've noticed that about a quarter of the site's visitors come from french-speaking countries!
Now that was something I hadn't expected. Since I'm sort of in the process of learning french at the moment, I thought maybe I should translate some of these poems into french and open up the site to 'la monde francophone'?.. The cool little pie chart I 'borrowed' off SiteMeter shows why.
So what do you think? If you want to see some franais on here, let me know via comments or email moemin05@hotmail.com
Many Thanks
THE ADMIN
