عرفتك والتيه في خاطري ** يروعني بالدقى والعذاب
عرفتك في كل شيء بدا ** وفي البحر أو في جمال الهضاب
وفي نسمات الهدا ذقتها ** نسيت بها الطيبات العدا
فيا رب صن قلبي عن نزغة ** تريه الضلال نقي الثياب
فجد بي بحبك نحو هداك ** وهبني رضاك وحسن مآب

And the end of my grief and the end of my sorrow

And the glad Tidings of the Signs speak with tenderness
