Muhammad Al-Hasyan

A3araftoka Ya Rabb | I knew You, O Lord

Nasheed by Muhammad Al-Hasyan Feat. Rayhan

English Lyrics:

CHORUS
Allahu Allahu Allahu Allah
Allahu Allahu Allahu Allah
(Repeats 3 times at the start)
I knew You, Oh Lord, [even] before I repented..
I knew You since my heart had a taste of hardship
CHORUS
I knew You, and misguidance was inside of me..
.. frightening me with hardship(?) and torture

CHORUS

I knew you in every thing that appeared..
and in the sea or in the beauty of the hills

(Repeats)
CHORUS

And in the breezes of guidance, I tasted them..
I forgot with them the many good things
CHORUS
So, Allah, preserve my heart from a temptation..
..which would show it misguidance in pure clothes

CHORUS
So excel me, with your love, towards your guidance..
And grant me your contentment and the best of places [in paradise].
CHORUS
